Netflix Is Hiring at Fort Monmouth, With Some Roles Paying Up to $323,000

Netflix is hiring for its Fort Monmouth studio in Monmouth County, with some management roles advertising annual compensation ranges of $181,000 to $323,000. The openings are for the company's planned East Coast production hub in Eatontown and Oceanport.
NJ.com reported Thursday that eight openings were posted last week, including stage specialist, logistics coordinator, site and services specialist, site and services coordinator, client services coordinator, studio safety specialist, logistics manager and studio administrative manager. The listings are not a new hiring announcement made Thursday.
Netflix's careers site lists the studio administrative manager opening as an on-site New Jersey position, with an October 29 posting date. The role involves studio billing, budgets and daily administrative operations. Netflix says compensation within the advertised range depends on factors including a candidate's background, skills and experience; the maximum is not a guaranteed starting salary.
The $1 billion studio is expected to have 12 soundstages and be fully operational by 2028, according to NJ.com. The project is projected to create about 1,500 permanent production jobs, in addition to construction work. Those are long-term projections, separate from the eight openings reported this week.
